In British Euchre it is much easier to get set if you have a marginally decent hand and call trump, as a person holding the Joker can negate traditional concepts like having the left bower with a lower trump to protect it, or even do away with the idea that the right bower is guaranteed to be good for a trick. If trump suit is led you must throw a Joker if you do not have any other trump in your hand. The Joker is considered to be trump suit. While the Joker is wild, if you hold a specific suit in your hand which is led, you must follow suit on that trick and can not throw the Joker on any trick where you have the suit led in your hand. Other than that, the game is largely the same. The Joker is more powerful than any other card in the deck. The British version of Euchre is the same as American Euchre with the exception that a Joker is included in the deck. Games last until one team makes it to 10 points. If you play alone you score 4 points instead of 2 if you wan all 5 tricks. You score 2 points for getting at least 3 tricks when your opposing team called trump. You score 2 points for calling trump and making 5 tricks. You score 1 point for calling trump and making 3 or 4 tricks. If your partner makes trump and you have a chance to lay it you typically would want to in most cases. Players must follow the suit which is led if they are holding that suit in their hand. Trump suit beats any card from any other suits. The card order for Clubs as trump would be Jack of Clubs, Jack of Spades, then A-K-Q-10-9 of clubs. If Clubs were Trump the Jack of Clubs would be the right bower & the Jack of Spades would be the left bower. For suits which are trump the Jack of that suit & the other Jack of the same color are the most powerful cards, then the remaining cards are in the same order as above. For suits which are not trump the order is A-K-Q-J-10-9. In this game the computer players are not too aggressive with calling trump. In some games computer players are rather aggressive at calling trump. In general you should presume that your partner can get at least 1 hand while hoping to take 2 yourself. If nobody chooses a trump suit the hand is redealt anew with new cards. Players can choose any suit other than the one which was turned down on the deal. If nobody orders up the dealer then players get a chance to name which suit they would like to make as trump. If you make trump or someone else orders up a card to you it can be beneficial to throw away a card which limits the number of suits you are holding. If you order up the first card shown the dealer will obtain that card as part of their hand. 
The dealer of each hand has the word Dealer above them throughout the deal.

The right edge of the screen has 4 buttons to pause the game, control game sounds, control game music, and switch to full screen mode. The dealer for each hand has the word Dealer above their face. The current score is shown in the lower left corner of the screen. Tap the screen with your finger to use it like a mouse. North American Euchre is the classic version of the game & the British version of the game is largely identical with the exception that Jokers are also used. This will bring up a select menu where you can choose to play North American or British Euchre. Select the red and white Play button on the game’s welcome screen to start the game.
